Intro
I'm Lotfy — an engineer with over fourteen years of experience in the contracting world. I've spent that time on real projects, working with real teams, watching how the industry moves and where it gets stuck.
Why Wakeel AI exists
Over the last couple of years, AI has gone from a buzzword to something that genuinely changes how we can work. But in contracting, adoption is slow — partly because the tools feel distant from the day-to-day reality of the job site, and partly because there's a lot of noise and not much honest guidance.
I started Wakeel AI to explore that gap from the field. To share what I learn, build small tools that might actually be useful, and have honest conversations with others who are figuring this out alongside me. It's not a product. It's not a pitch. It's a place to think out loud and learn together.
What this space is about
You'll find articles on how AI is being used — and misused — in contracting. Free tools and templates you can try in your own work. Notes from experiments, things that worked, things that didn't.
What you won't find here: hype, vague promises, or anyone trying to sell you a transformation in 30 days. AI is powerful, but it's also early, and being honest about that matters.
A note on trust and data
Before any of us hand our project files, client lists, or internal documents to an AI tool, we should know exactly where that data goes. Throughout everything shared on Wakeel AI — the tools, the articles, the conversations — data privacy is treated as a starting point, not an afterthought. If you're exploring AI for your business, knowing how to keep your information safe is part of the journey.
Let's connect
This is a slow build, and the best part of it is the people who join along the way. If any of this resonates, follow the blog, try the tools, and reach out — I'd genuinely like to hear what you're working on.
